Embracing the Future, Never Losing Sight of Our Past

Our Agency was founded in 1927 by R.C. Yost, a gentle caring man who believed in providing customers quality insurance with a personal touch. In those days the agency also provided real estate and accounting services, all the while operating with the utmost integrity and professionalism. His son, Homer joined him in the business, following in his father’s footsteps. Homer, known for his kind fun-loving spirit, regularly brought his faithful canine companion, “Punkin” to work. Homer took the helm in 1963 when his father passed away, and the agency name evolved from the R.C. Yost Agency to the Homer Yost Agency. Though the name changed, the philosophy of excellence in customer care never wavered.

That tradition continues today under the leadership of Homer’s daughter, Anne Wolf.  Integrity and excellence in customer service continue to be the cornerstones of our business.  From the companies we represent, to our dedicated knowledgeable staff, our goal is always to maintain these core values. 

Additionally, our agency now is able to offer expanded financial and insurance services through our sister companies in the Brooker Family of Businesses, which are operated under the leadership of Malcolm Brooker Jr., also a third generation insurance professional.    

As we build on the past, and look ahead toward our century mark in 2027, we will continue the legacy of providing dependable insurance service with a personal touch.
